RECYCLE

Recycling

For about 2 or more years I have been collecting cans at work so that we could recycle. I have always just put a HEB bag and tied it to a drawer in the kitchen. I have been doing this for a long time. The bags get filled pretty quickly, since we have most of the refrigerator stocked up with sodas and water and I drink about 3 a day. (very true). Yesterday, Monday the 8th one of my co-workers came by and said, "have you seen your new recycling box?" I said, "Oh my! Is the bag full?" Well I went to the back and "ta da" there was this cute box that the housekeeper "Gabrielle" made for my cans. Check it out, now I do not have to be changing out these HEB bags all the time.

Wasn't this nice of her? I love my box. So good-bye HEB bags and Hello to my new Recycle Box.

Thank you Gabriella.

Feeling like a Hoarder! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Feeling like a HOARDER!
but I'm NOT!
OK I am hooked to the TLC and all the shows that come on especially the "Hoarder" show. I watch this show and freak out because how can you let this stuff get built up. Well if you know me well you know I am a clean freak and love to clean when I am in the mood. When I do start cleaning boy do I get in the zone. I love to re-organize and reorganize and purge. I do not like to hold on to things, especially clothes. I always have a box in my room or closet and that is for clothes or things that I do not want and will get rid of. As for my hubby on the other hand he holds on to things and loves to pick things up on the side of the road and go to garage sales and so on and so on. I get so irriated because if you saw our garage then you know why I get annoyed.

Let me show you a sneak peak.
well every time I walk into the garage I start having anxiety attacks because I start freaking out because of all the stuff we have in the garage. Let me tell you half of this stuff is good old VINCE....Yup so much of it. I finally laid down the law and told him that this Saturday the 21st we were going to take everything out of the garage and purge and get rid of a lot of stuff. Well my hubby surprised me and started to take everything out of the garage and start cleaning it.

So when I got home today I decided that I would start working on the garage also. I work faster then hubby, I am a hustler. I start moving and moving and moving. I was at it from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. and we made a lot of progress. My feet hurt and I am tired. Here is a little preview of how our garage looks. I am getting excited.

I am so excited you can actually see the floor. I should of taken a picture before but he had already started moving the stuff out. As you can see their is a whole side that needs to be purged.

so these cabinets used to be in my scrapbook room but since I had to give up my scrapbook room for my boys so we moved them outside so I can store Vince baking and cooking stuff in here. and there is  a little space for us to fold the clothes as soon as it comes out of the dryer.....I love to fold the clothes as soon as it comes out of the dryer vs leaving it in the baskets to get wrinkle.....but that's another post later. lol

If you would have seen this side you would have freaked out . Look it's clean. There are my 4 recycle bins and our deep freezer and my wrapping paper and party bags. It was getting late so we ended it tonight. Tomorrow we will continue. If it was up to me I would throw everything away.

Here are our recycle buckets. 1 for cardboard's, 1 for plastics, 1 for cans and 1 for misc.

So as you can see we are working on cleaning out our garage. I will post another picture later of the final outcome. I am getting excited. We are probable going to have a garage sale on Saturday and see what we get rid of. Anything that we do not sell will be donated somewhere.

So do not go thinking I am a hoarder, It was just my garage.
Lol.
I want to get storage containers and a label maker to help my husband get organized.
Thanks hubby for cleaning the garage.

Too be continued.................................

Mr. & Mrs. Webster

My kids absolutely adore our neighbors
Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Webster.
Let me tell you as soon as we drive up to our driveway and they see the car and garage open they beg us to go say Hi. Or if they are outside then they run up to them and just have the greatest time with them.
They adore them. Mr. Webster is usually watering his grass so they love that part
because he lets them water his grass and even get wet sometimes.
He will also bring out the tennis balls and let them throw them on the roof and chase the ball afterwards.

So guess what when I got home from work Mr. Webster was watering his grass and I asked have my kiddos seen you. He said," No bring them out." So as soon as I walked in the door I told Hannah, "guess whose outside?"
She ran outside with her cousin Adrik following along.
Micah was still in his pajamas. Yes I know at 5 p.m. so I told him who was outside so he made me change him really fast.
As you can see he ran outside yelling, " Mr. Webster"
Hannah & Micah cousins were over so they were thrilled just as well.
Look who had control of the water hose. Yup!
Ms. Hannah

There's Micah running through.

Mr. Webster took over because Hannah was getting the kiddos wet. And it would not look nice if they went to VBS drenched. lol

After the water hose, he brought out the tennis balls.
Didn't I tell you he would.

They were bummed they had to go but dont worry there is more of Mr. & Mrs. Webster in the future.

Wow!

OK so I know I am probably the only one that has not finished reading Eclipse or Breaking Dawn. Yup! I know. But last week I started ready Eclipse all over again because I had only gotten to the 1st couple of chapters so I re-read those chapters. And Yes I have been reading every chance I get. Yes at red lights, during lunch, riding in the vehicle with the family, at night and anywhere else I could read. So today the kids and my hubby went off to VBS from 6-9 and guess what I did for 3 hours. YUP! Read the rest of the book. OMG.

I cried and cried
I know you are probably wondering at what part well I started crying in the middle of Chapter 26 when Bella went to go visit Jacob b/c remember he had gotten hurt when fighting. I love this part:

"You know that story in the Bible?" Jacob asked suddenly, still reading the blank ceiling.
"The one with the king and the two women fighting over the baby?"
"Sure, King Solomon."
"That's right, King Solomo, " he repeated. " And he said, cut the kid in half... but it was only a test. Just to see who would give up their share to protect it."
"Yeah, I remember."
He looked back at my face, "I'm not going to cut you in half anymore, Bella."

  then this part:

"He's like a drug for you, Bella." His voice was still gentle, not at all critical. "I see that you can't live without him now. It's too late. But I would have been healthier for you.
Not a drug; I would have been the air, the sun."
The corner of my mouth turned up in a wistful half-smile. "I used to think of you that way, you know.
Like the sun. My personal sun. You balanced out the clouds nicely for me."
He sighed. " The clouds I can handle. But I can't fight with an eclipse."

"I'll always be waiting in the wings, Bella," he promised, lightening his tone and loosening his arm. I pulled away with a dull, dragging sense of loss, feeling the tearing separation as I left a part of me behind, there on the bed next to him. "You'll always have that spare option if you want it."

Then I was really crying in the next chapter (27)
When she left Jacob's house and had to pull over because the pain was unbearable. Then Alice and Edward showed up and , "The door creaked open, and he pulled me into his arms." Awww..
"Edward didn't say anything, he just let me sob"
OMG! It's like I can see the movie in my head already.  This was so good and can not wait to see the movie.
The sad thing is that I can not watch it opening night because I have to work the next morning and everyone knows that Queen April needs 8-10 hours of sleep.
So guess what I am off to bed or I might just start reading the last book

Another favorite quote from pg 195 of the hard cover. End of chapter 8
"Sleep, my Bella. Dream happy dreams. You are the only one who has ever touched my heart. It will always be yours. Sleep, my only love."

Proud Mom

Today  Tuesday 1/19/09 my son brought his Monday folder home with all his grades. As you can tell I am very proud of him, he made a 101 on his LATIN test. WOW! My son has adjusted well at his new school, "Annapolis Christian Academy". All his grades from last week were A's. His spelling test, his bible verse memorization, english, chemistry, math and more. As you can tell he works hard all week and hardly has time to even watch 30 minutes of T.V. a day. We are very proud of you Dylan.
Love Mom.
