Thanksgiving 2011

We celebrated Thanksgiving the day before "November 23rd" with my sister and her family, my mom, my nana, and Lily and Angelina so that we could have Angelina and Lily here with us.

APRIL

Proud Auntie!

I would like to say that I am an Aunt who is honored to be a aunt to my nephews and nieces. I love all of them so much. 

Sunday I had the privilege to take care of the two little babies. 

Devin and Angelina. 

These babies are amazing and I love when I can have them over, today they had a play date at Auntie's house. 

My family and I had so much fun taking care of them, giving them both all the attention they deserve.

 

I put both the babies in Angelina's travel pak and rolled them over to the living room to play with big Legos. Micah and Hannah are so great with them, they just adore them.

  I love the way Devin came over in the morning to my house in his Pajamas. Love the colors and he looked so adorable. He is very attached to his parents so even though he knows me very well he still cry's. But we immediately put on one of his favorite movies "Monster's Inc" and he was so in-tuned to it that he forgot about his parents dropping him off. :) We then brought Micah's Big Leggos over so he could play and he really enjoyed them that I went to Walmart really fast leaving both babies with Uncle Vince and went to buy him his own set of Big Legos. I also bought Angelina a couple of stuff also. I love to spoil all of my nephews and nieces with love and more. 

Thank you Lord for allowing me be the BEST Aunt I can be!

Contagious!

All I can say is that she has a contagious SMILE!

I had the privilege of taking care of Angelina Olivia all weekend, yes that included overnight for two days. But she was such a great Baby! She woke up smiling and talking. You would just look at her or say her name and she would smile. Never once woke up in a bad mood. I love this baby so much and Thank God for bringing her parents and her to move down to Corpus Christi so that I could bond with her. 

I have such a great relationship with my two nephews B.B. and Devin and my oldest niece Lexi that I know Angelina and I will have a great relationship also. I just love all of them so much and happy to be their AUNTIE!

 

I'm Tired!

i'm tired...

 so many of you know i have been sick with the flu for a week. I am doing much better...thank you for everyone who said a prayer for me and my family but besides that let me tell you why i labeled this post, "I'M TIRED"

So when Hannah gets home I tell her to go clean her room and as for Micah I have been telling him all day long. So i left it at that. well i got up to check on Dylan and i pass by and see Hannah laying in her bed along with Micah chilling on his bed... I yell out loud, "i dont see anyone cleaning their room"

and i hear Hannah say, "I'm Tired" of what I yell back, she says, "Hello, of SCHOOL"....

omg all i could do at that point is keeping walking down the hallway because i wanted to laugh so hard. In my head I was saying, boy do you have a long way to go because you are only a kindergarten. 

So this is what Hannah's room looks like. 

 The last pictures are of Micah's room. My 4 year old. 

I can clean these rooms and organize and put things in order but give them 24 hours and they can be back to these photos. I know I should remember they are only 4 and 6 but oh my...why cant kids play with something and just remember to put back where they got it from? 

What I am about to do is get a big plastic bag and go pick up everything that is on their floor and take away until i feel they can clean their room? 

If you have any tips ....please help.....

Advent Calendar

A New Tradition

 I love blogs and can say I am a blog reader stalker. I have my favorites and one of them is Alie Edwards. On November 5th she posted on her blog about Advent Action Cards   she created. 
I am always looking for new ideas traditions to do with my family. I just loved this idea. So for being my first time I believe I did a pretty good job. It could look better but next year's will be better. 
My mother-in-law cut the blocks of fabric for me, i then sewed them together and then put clear plastic over them. 

Here's a look at the blocks cut out. 

So I sewed the fabrics together and add red around the edges...

 Here i added some of the numbers.

So i sewed the plastic on and added the sides....

Day 1: Thank your teacher for being your teacher.

Here is our calendar hanging on the tree. Dylan is turning Day 2 over. 
Day2: Go pick out our family ornament. 




So this will be one of our traditions every year. I am excited about it.

A review of "Halloween"

Finally......

My kids having been waiting for this day to come so that they could dress up. I let my little ones wear their custome the 1st day we bought them and I had to tear them off of them. (not). I come to find out Hannah already had riped her dress....but she says, "it was already like that momma"....

yeah right Hannah...tell me another line because tht will not work. lol

They were so stoked to get dressed.

So we had to go back to our house just so that the kids could stop

by Mr and Mrs. Webster's house. They were excited to see our kids.

We love our neighbors especially my kids.

Micah is always so rough with Mr. Webster, he always wants to kick,

punch and fight him. I don't know why.  The kid comes out of

Mr. Webster when my kids are around.

We finished the night going to Auntie Linda's to see Haley and Reese.

My kids had a great night....As soon as we got home we bathed them and within seconds they were passed knocked out.

My babies are getting big!

Growing Up!

Tomorrow Dylan and Hannah will start school. I am feeling sad Dylan will be in the 4th grade and Hannah starts her first year of school. "Kindergarten".

Tonight I prepared their lunch. They were super excited. 

Dylan is going to take left overs from today. He loved the pork tenderloins that Vince cooked tonight with the mashed potatoes. He is also taking the homemade bbq sauce. He's so picky so I am glad he wants to take leftovers. 

Hannah will is taking some fresh strawberries with grapes.

Hannah will be also taking a luncable, cheetos, pudding and peaches.

Dylan will also be taking  bread, honeybun, grapes, peaches, pudding and a nutty buddy.

It's 10:30 p.m. and I can still hear them awake. I remember those days of not being able to sleep.
